​Dr J. Gordon Henry

"Several decades ago, God gave me a burden for prayer, which led to the development of the Prayer Seminar ministry. Since that time, I have led numerous seminars in many states and nations, with thousands attending. My goal is to help Christians gain insights on prayer that they can benefit from immediately."

 














Founder of The Prayer Seminar Dr. Henry, a native of White Pine, Tennessee, in the foothills of the Smokies, holds a B.A. degree from Berea College (KY), earned an M.A. from Eastern Kentucky University, and a doctorate from the University of Kentucky. He has done graduate work at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Duke University (NC) and Rutgers University (NJ). For many years he served as president at Northeastern Bible College, Essex Fells, New Jersey. Before that, he was Dean of the College and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Liberty Baptist College (now Liberty University), Virginia.  He also counts it a privilege to have served as the Executive Director of the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools from 1985 - 1995. Since 1995, he has served as an educational consultant to colleges in California, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.

​Adam Nathanson

"I share The Prayer Seminar because I want to see people building Lighthouse of Prayer all around the world that will serve as focal points and guiding lights for their families, communities, regions and nations"

​Adam is the President of The Prayer Seminar and he is also a pastor, longtime missionary and Church Planter who has served God in Maryland and overseas. He served in Brazil, Cuba and Venezuela where he planted churches and Bible Colleges over the last 30 years. In 1999 he began traveling with Dr. Henry and translating for him into Spanish The Prayer Seminar. After years of working together in 2017 Adam began traveling around and sharing The Prayer Seminar in both English and Spanish around the US, Canada, South and Central America. On April 30th Adam was officially installed as the President of The Prayer Seminar Ministries and he continues sharing the seminars all over the globe.

​Leslie Motsalane

​"My desire was always to teach Christians about the importance of prayer though didn't have adequate resources until I met Dr. Gordon and his prayer seminar. A good relationship and communication with God, family and the church builds healthy  relationships."

Leslie has been a Pastor in South Africa for over 30 years and he shares that ​since the first day he heard Dr Gordon teaching on prayer until now it  he has natured his prayer life to a lifestyle. Where he prays about everything. What was imparted in him developed a burden to share the amazing revelation in all nine provinces of South Africa and neighbor countries. He plans to continue conducting prayer seminars for the next 10 to 15 years God willing.
What touched him most was Isaiah 62:6. So I made a decision to establish lighthouses of prayer  to many small towns and villages have been visited even if the don't appear on the map. 

Martin George Shikuku

 "I teach The Prayer Seminar in Keyna and all around East and Central Africa because prayer is the "main thing" and just like Jesus' disciples we need to be taught how to pray. This teaching has changed my WHOLE Christian life! Everywhere I teach I hear comments like this: "I have never heard teachings on prayer like this!" so I keep on teaching because every Church needs this truth."

Pastor Martin met Dr Henry in a one week Bible Institute in Kenya at Brackenhurst Hotel in April 2007. The Training brought together Pastors from East and Central Africa. His teachings on The Purpose and Power of Prayer truly impacted my life and made several decisions about five of them one being that I choose to live that life of The Word of God and Prayer. Secondly, I will translate the Workbook into Swahili language for East and Central Africa Nations. Three, I will teach others too as per 2 Timothy 2:2 starting from my church. Four, I will invite Dr Henry to Kenya of which I did all. Dr Henry came several times, I have travelled with him and alone around East and Central Africa nations. Together with my wife Anne, we are the Directors of The Prayer Seminars, East and Central Africa( Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, DRCongo, South Sudan and Even Somalia).

Digmar Lugo Gracia

"I share The Prayer Seminar around the Island of Cuba because it transforms our perspective about a life of prayer with Jesus and helps us grow spiritually, allowing us to be used by God uniting us with His redemptive mission "

Digmar Lugo is a pastor in Santa Clara, Cuba and has hosted Dr. Henry and Adam since 2010 and helped them share The Payer Seminar all over the Island in churches and home groups. Today he shares The Payer Seminar once a month a different churches throughout the island of Cuba. He has been a wonderful provision for growing the ministry of The Prayer Seminar in Cuba in the last few years.

​Roberto Wiesman in Belo Horizonte, Brazil has been one of our partners since 2008. In 2020 due to the Pandemic affecting travel we had to cancel a long awaited and planned for prayer seminar but since then Roberto and his team have held a virtual "zoom" prayer meeting that has gathered every day without interruptions for the last 579 days and counting....

John Finnessy has been a longtime friend and partner for our ministry along with Cross Victory Ministries.
