Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

This policy explains what information The Prayer Seminar collects through this website, why, and who helps us handle it. We collect only what we need to share free prayer resources, answer you, organize seminars and receive gifts. We never sell or rent your information.

Who we are

The Prayer Seminar was founded as J. Gordon Henry Ministries in 1984 and is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization in the United States. Our mailing address is PO Box 42038, Baltimore, MD 21284. For any question about this policy, write to theprayerseminar@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

We only receive what you type into a form on this site, plus the little technical information any website receives.

  • Newsletter and free resources: your email address, your first name if you give it, the form you used and the language of the page. We use it to unlock the videos and to send our newsletter. The workbook downloads freely, without an email.
  • Contact form: your name, email, subject and message. They are sent by email to our team so we can reply.
  • Seminar requests: your name, email, church or organization and location. They are sent by email to our team so we can plan a seminar with you.
  • Donations: your card details are entered into a secure form provided by Square and go directly to Square. We never see or store your card number. We keep the amount, the date, your email, your name if you give it and Square's payment reference, and we email you a receipt.
  • Technical information: like any website, our hosting provider receives your IP address and browser details when you visit. We use them only to keep the site running and to stop abuse, such as repeated failed payments from one address.

Services that help us

We rely on a few trusted providers. Each one receives only what it needs for its task:

  • Square processes donations.
  • Mailchimp sends our newsletter.
  • Resend delivers the emails this site sends, such as receipts and confirmations.
  • Supabase stores newsletter signups and donation records.
  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • Cloudflare stores the workbook files you download and provides privacy-friendly visitor statistics that use no cookies.
  • Vimeo plays our teaching videos. Its player may collect viewing information under Vimeo's own privacy policy.
  • Google reCAPTCHA protects our forms from spam. It collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google; Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. When you sign up for resources, we set one cookie that remembers it for a year, so we don't ask you again. Your browser also stores a few small notes on your own device: which free videos you have watched, whether you have signed up or requested a seminar, and whether you closed a notice. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

Square, Vimeo and Google reCAPTCHA may set their own cookies when their features load.

Your choices

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you by writing to theprayerseminar@gmail.com. We will answer within 30 days.

How long we keep it

We keep newsletter signups until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We keep donation records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Messages to our team stay in our email until they are no longer needed.

Security

This site is served only over an encrypted connection. Card payments are handled entirely by Square, which meets the payment card industry's security standard (PCI DSS). Access to our records is limited to the people who need it.

Children

This site is meant for adults and church leaders. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Where your information is processed

Our ministry and most of our providers are in the United States, so your information is processed there, wherever you live.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
